Before the merge and memory loss — the twins were an unstoppable force against their enemies. Ares would tank using his powerful offensive spells, while
Azariah would defend and heal them both. Fighting back to back, switching
staves with one another. Watching the two of them in combat was a beautiful
and mesmerizing thing. They would often take on hordes of beasts, firing spell
after spell, while sometimes even laughing. They thought that nothing could ever
break through their defenses, but the only thing that truly broke them apart,
was themselves. Azariah fed and coaxed the darker side of Ares, until he just
couldn’t take it anymore. And as his light was no longer strong enough
to overcome his older brother, Ares knew that something had to change…
